Accommodation
Here at Oldfields Farm we have accommodation to suit most needs. If you are looking for a private country retreat then you might like to try our Gorsey Hayes or Handel’s Muse barn conversions. If you would rather, then we would invite you to share in the ambience of our welcoming Bed & Breakfast Farmhouse.
Where to stay?
There are 3 options for accommodation, depending on where you stay – either Bed and Breakfast, self catering (where you provide your own food) or do it yourself breakfast (where we stock the fridge daily in the self catering unit, giving our guests the freedom to have breakfast or perhaps a later brunch).
No evening meals are served at Oldfields, however there are some excellent country pubs nearby which we can guide you on to suit varying tastes and pockets.
For those special occasions, anniversaries, birthdays etc, it is possible to arrange something ‘nice’ for your loved ones. Just give us a little notice, beforehand, and we’ll do our best.
Complimentary tea/coffee with homemade jam and scones on arrival for all our guests.
Our attention to detail is important to us, and we have collected a number of local history/guide books, walking maps etc. to aid our visitors’ tours around Derbyshire & the Staffordshire Moorlands. In addition, to these, we have available some binoculars, playing cards, wellies, outside games, torches, colouring pencils, outside paraffin lamps, BBQ implements, baking utensils… the list is endless – you merely have to ask and we will endeavour to oblige.
