Our wonderfully well equipped 3 bedroom threshing barn maintains its ancient beams used in the original 17th century timber frame and has a newly installed contemporary kitchen featuring cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There is a four poster bedroom on the ground floor with a marble en-suite shower/wet room. These doors are extra wide to facilitate a wheelchair and there is a portable ramp outside the building should it be required for a less able member of the party.
The large, cosy lounge houses a 19th century stone fire surround, natural stone flooring, knotted oak beams, more antiques, coal effect fire and a 36" screen TV with digital freeview. Upstairs, amid sumptuous carpeting, silk throws, Egyptian 1000 thread sheets, jacquard linen, comfy cushions and wonderful beams, there is a super kingsize 7ft bed (which splits into 2 x singles) and a master family room with a kingsize bed and Victorian iron single day bed. We offer the same extras in this property as in Handel’s Muse, together with flatscreen TV/DVD players and radio/CD players in all bedrooms.
The second bathroom also features marble and contains a Jacuzzi bath, matching Jacuzzi suite and free-standing shower.
Outside, with lovely views of our fields up the hill, there is a large private patio area (and new lawn area) with plentiful garden furniture, chiminea heater/grill and umbrellas. Guests are also free to wander in the fields & orchard and may use the BBQ, hammocks, benches and patios.
