Open all year round.
There are 3 options for accommodation, depending on where you stay – either B&B, self catering (where you bring your own) or do it yourself breakfast (where we stock the fridge daily in the self catering unit, giving our guests the freedom to have breakfast or perhaps a later brunch).
No evening meals are served at Oldfields. However, there are some excellent country pubs nearby which we can guide you on (to suit varying tastes and pockets). We are able to book tables for you – simply let us know.
For those special occasions, anniversaries, birthdays etc., it is possible to arrange something ‘nice’ for your loved ones (eg birthday cake, flowers or bubbly). Just give us a little notice, beforehand, and we’ll do our best.Complimentary tea/coffee with homemade jam and scones on arrival for all our guests.
B&B Tariff
All prices are per person per night (based on 2 sharing with a minimum 2 night stay) and include continental breakfast consisting of tea/fresh coffee, cereals, muffin/brioche, fresh fruit, homemade jam, toast etc. We can offer a locally-sourced, mostly organic, full English breakfast at a nominal £5 extra ppn.
Breakfast can be served in the farmhouse dining room or perhaps on one of our private patios such as the Japanese garden (weather permitting).

Not possible in the farmhouse room. Self catering rates are subject to high, mid and low seasonal rates. Please see our booking page for greater detail. The prices for Handel’s Muse per week range between £310 – £440 and for Gorsey Hayes between £595 – £960 (from £12pppn – £19.60pppn). Low Season Short breaks (3 or 4 night) in 5* Gold Gorsey Hayes from £495 (£17.65 pppn). A lot more luxury than the YHA!

You may check in from 16.00 hrs until 21.00 hrs.
You must check out by 10.00 hrs.

There is a strict no smoking policy inside all the properties.
Children
Whilst children are welcome in Handel’s Muse, we are unfortunately not able to accommodate children under the age of 8 years old in either Gorsey Hayes or the farmhouse room. Due to the high levels of quality furnishings & antiques in this property, we have found this necessary due to the damage incurred by previous guests and apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
