Spring is coming.......

News around the farm
The snowdrops in the copse have been amazing this year and are just starting to fade. Meanwhile the hellebores and daffs have come up again in the terrace gardens and mixed borders and look beautiful. Isn’t nature wonderful? The barn owls have been pushed out of their box by some wood pigeons, I saw my first bats out of hibernation last night AND we have some cheeky blue tits making a nest in one of our overflow pipes.

Bookings are certainly getting busier (especially since Alton Towers open next week) and we’re already booked for the New Year. Due to the success of our ’special’ last Dec, we are continuing to offer 6 day holidays in Gorsey Hayes, our 6/7 person threshing barn (see the new site on www.oldfieldsfarm.iowners.net where there are more pics) with a brilliant 20% discount off the weekly rate. Under the 6 day break scheme, check-in is after 3pm Saturday with check-out lunchtime the following Friday. Ideal for those working or those wishing to avoid the Friday night traffic jams. Quote reference ‘MAR 11′ when booking on 01335 324 124 or via email on info@oldfieldsfarm.co.uk

Special Offer
STOP PRESS – We have a 5 night self catering break available over the Easter holidays (Sun 24th – Fri 29th) with 2 bank holidays in it for £255 making it a saving of £100 AND includes a bottle of bubbly!

Lovely cottage. We were made very welcome & appreciated the extra touches like scones on arrival. Information folder was very well organised and helpful. Thank-you!
